Let Me Sing You Asleep
My first Legend of Korra fanfic; this was a lot of fun to write.
I hope you enjoy!
Rating: PG-13-ish :)
Word Count: 2075
Teaser: A lighting blot flashed across the sky followed right after by a deafening crack of thunder. Republic City hadn't seen a storm like this in quite a while. The Avatar's thoughts were abruptly interrupted as she heard a blood-curdling scream crescendo through the darkness and carry over a crack of thunder. Her heart sank.
Pairing: Makorra
Genre: Romance, Slight Suspense
I should also mention: this takes place after the season finale when they return to Republic City and Air Temple Island. :)

The Jealousy Game (Part 4)
"I don't even remember why I left you in the first place, Tahno."
"I love the smell of your hair, Asami."
"Apparently, Mako likes the smell of dirt."
"And apparently, Korra forgot he was a manwhore."
"Ignore him Tahno; only jealous guys use insults like that."
"And ignore Korra, Asami; only jealous females throw popcorn at their husbands for no apparent reason."
Mako and Korra went back and forth with each other like that the whole movie, leaving Tahno and Asami caught in the crossfire...but they weren't complaining about it. In fact, they enjoyed the crossfire because in meant they'd be a little closer to their ex's, physically and ver

Day 4: Scarf
“Please,” Korra begged as she tightly held an end of Mako’s scarf in her hands.
“I said no Korra.” Mako was sitting across from her and holding the other end of his scarf – his serious expression slowly turning into anger.
“Come on Mako, please. It’ll add excitement. You know you want to.” Korra was not going to lose this fight, even if she had to get physical.
“What excitement is there if we use my scarf for bondage? What’s wrong with my handcuffs?” Mako didn’t want to lose either and risk his precious item to be used in a fowl way.

He sighed as he sat waiting for her. She was supposed to be ready by now, but apparently, she didn't get the message. Or she was just "too busy" elsewhere.
"I'm almost done," she said as she emerged from the bathing room.
He glanced up at her and knew she wasn't going to be done anytime soon. Her hair was still wet and she had a towel around her. "I doubt you're 'almost done' Korra," he said. "You aren't even dressed."
"I'll be fine."
She started to move away from him, but he blocked her. She frowned and crossed her arms, expecting him to move. He would have said something, but he was a little distracted with a thought that crept up.

Mako watched Korra skulk along beside him in the rain. He held out the red umbrella for her to take cover but she waved it away. Boy was she stubborn.
"Come on, I said I was sorry." Korra cast those sapphire orbs at him which could cut air into thin slices.
"You're soaked to the bone. Please come back under." She ignored him and kept walking. Her hair stuck to her face, her ponytails falling from their ceremonial water beads. Her shirt was soaked clean through but Mako didn't necessarily mind that part.
"Ok Korra I give up; stay out there for as long as you want."
"I'm not coming back under until you apologize." Mako

Korra raced around the rink, twirling and spinning around like the talented ice skater she was. Around her, people of every age and size skated in the spacious rink of Republic City Park. Snow surrounded them all, cold nipping at their cheeks, but no one paid it any mind they were all having too much fun, enraptured in their friends and families.
The Avatar was glad to be back in her natural element though the winters in Republic City were nowhere near as harsh at the ones in the South Pole, they were still pretty cold. And she loved it! Skating up to her Earthbending friend, she did a circle around the leisurely
"Korra, what's wrong?"
The Avatar didn't turn from her spot on the dock to look at the Firebender, instead hugging her arms around her tighter. Closing her eyes, she whispered, "Go away, Mako."
Mako stepped forward, signalling that he wasn't going to leave her out there alone. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he repeated himself, "What's wrong? What happened back there?"
Korra bit her lip. Just a few minutes before, she and Mako and Bolin had been sitting up in their attic apartment, going over and finalizing their plans for attack against Amon. They had been planning this ambush for weeks now, and they finally had everything little thing s

Mako was trying his damnedest to not pay attention to the perverted leader of the Wolfbats leering at Korra, but he just couldn't. Every few practice punches he threw, he was looking over his shoulder and observing the scene with an obvious glint in his amber irises. Tahno was standing off to the side of the training room with the rest of his group, sending Korra hungry looks as he watched her spar with Bolin, however, she didn't seem to notice, or she was just ignoring him. It was sick, and it was annoying the Firebender to no end for more than one reason than the fact that it was completely inappropriate. He hated that Ta
"Admit it, you like me."
He knew he wasn't going to like this conversation the moment he stepped into the hall. She was alone, looking into the waters of the bay below. Waiting. Unease had crept into the pit of his stomach as he approached her, asking if everything was alright. Something different shone in her eyes, something he could not identify. He was wracking his mind for a label when it was replaced with overconfidencethe kind one summons when they are nervous. The kind she summons when she's nervous. That's when her words rang through the arena's majestic hall.
And he did. He liked her a lot. When Bolin had been taken, she ha
The rain beat down on the earth in an almost rhythmic fashion, turning the grassy expanses of the park into mud. What had started as a warm, spring morning had suddenly changed to a cold, rainy afternoon in less than a heartbeat.
Korra looked up towards the sky, closing one eye and squinting the other as the water fell down onto her face. Even as a water bender, Korra had no particular feelings towards the rain, but she wasn't sure that she enjoyed it interrupting her walk.
The sun had hidden itself behind the currently dark gray clouds, and didn't seem to want to make a reappearance any time soon. In fact, the rain seemed to be coming down
